About

Hi, I’m Andy — founder of Great2Live and someone who’s navigated the leap from full-time work into a slower, more meaningful way of life.

After years of climbing the career ladder and eventually burning out as a company director, I made the decision to take early retirement. But what I was really seeking wasn’t just an end to the 9-to-5, it was a new beginning. A chance to pause, reassess, and create a life that felt more intentional, spacious, and grounded.

Now rooted in the heart of the Peak District, I’m discovering a different pace. Here, life unfolds in tune with nature — slow bike rides, home-cooked meals from local produce, big skies, and time to reflect. It’s a setting that invites healing, clarity, and a renewed sense of purpose.

Great2Live was born from that transition. It’s not just about retiring or relocating — it’s about reimagining what life can look like when you’re no longer defined by your career. I draw on years of leadership experience and a commitment to intentional living to build a life that’s both thoughtful and life-giving — and I share those insights to help others shape their own new vistas.

Through this space, I offer reflections, practical tools, and encouragement for anyone who’s ready to move beyond burnout or busyness and embrace a chapter marked by wholeness, faith, and freedom. As a Christian, I’m also exploring what it means to live a life that’s authentic, connected, and rooted in community and creation.

If you’re standing at the edge of retirement — wondering what’s next, and hoping it’s more than just slowing down — you’re in good company.

Welcome to Great2Live.
